FSC rewards first team of researchers in the context of its Policy Research Series

The FSC’s guest speaker presented one of his latest research in the field of behavioural finance.

He elaborated on the factors affecting risk tolerance of financial investors and furthermore explained how investment professionals are increasingly adopting Attitudes to Risk (ATR) questionnaires, as a means to determine the suitability of investment products for their clients.

His research findings indicate that there are several systematic and significant demographic influences (e.g. age, gender, marital status, wealth, health, educational level, investment experience) on the ATR of financial investors.
