Opening of FSC’s Representative Office in India

Speaking at the event, Mr S Ravindran, Executive Director of SEBI congratulated the Commission on this initiative and stated that “the setting up of the FSC Mauritius office in Mumbai will enlarge the scope of collaboration between both the regulators”.

The Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance, Hon. Dharmendar Sesungkur emphasised the long standing ties between India and Mauritius and the vision of the financial sector of Mauritius. He highlighted that “India remains of strategic importance to our financial services sector. This initiative is a laudable one and is a key enabler for further enhancing the buoyancy of Mauritius as an International Financial Centre of excellence in the Indian market”.
