Young Talent Competition
On the occasion of the Celebration of its 10th Anniversary and in line with its consumer education mandate, the FSC launched the Promoting Financial Literacy and Young Talent Competition on 01 December 2011. The objective of the Competition is to promote financial literacy and a better understanding of the financial services sector in Mauritius amongst Secondary and Tertiary Students. The YTC is now an annual competition for young Mauritians and an important part of the FSC's financial literacy programme through which the FSC aims to have a financially literate population capable of understanding the functioning of the financial services sector and how financial products and services are used on a daily basis.
While the YTC aims at encouraging research in the field of financial services whereby the entries submitted are in the form of project works and research papers, it also allows students to submit entries in the form creative works that is video clips, slams, songs and brochures.
