40th IOSCO Africa and Middle East Regional Committee Meeting and Conference, 24 – 25 January 2018

The current state of the financial landscape of member jurisdictions was discussed during the meeting held on 24 January. Debates were also held in the public conference on the main financing mechanisms, instruments, vehicles and investment options available in the region, and identification of the range of incentives and risk mitigation tools that can foster the mobilisation of financing for infrastructure, particularly in capital markets.

This annual event is also a forum for securities market players to discuss about salient topics and emerging issues, as well as, an opportunity to reinforce networking.
