Free Zone of Mauritius also avers to be responsible for the licensing, supervision and regulation of financial service providers including international banks, trust companies, insurance companies, mutual funds, corporate service providers, company managers, international business companies, and money transmitter services.
The public is hereby informed that the FSC is the integrated regulator for the non-bank financial services sector and global business in Mauritius; whilst the Bank of Mauritius is the central bank of Mauritius and is responsible for the licensing, regulation and supervision of banks and other financial institutions such as non-bank deposit taking institutions and cash dealers.
The FSC therefore urges investors and the public to exercise caution in relation to their dealing with Blackcore Ltd and Free Zone of Mauritius. The public is invited to consult the Register of Licensees available on its website for persons/entities which are duly licensed/authorised/registered by the FSC under the relevant Acts and/or to contact the FSC.
